we can issue a statuary demand tomorrow morning (cost £50 ) its only worth using SD if you are confident they have no excuse for non payment ,
After the Statuary 21 day period if there is no excuse then your need for a solicitor in not needed as they have lost their chance to dispute the invoice .
we could then go to court for you and request winding up petition (cost £850 ish)
Going by the history of this customer it sounds like they may want to buy off the petitioning creditor so they can do a relaunch like the first limited company you mention . in which case they would pay your debt , your costs and a bit of costs/profit for me .
this would then enable them to take back control and liquidate their company under their terms . (ie a newco )and the other creditors would loose out and not you
