From experience be careful of serviced offices (especially Regus). Get the Ts & Cs, House Rules, contract, etc. checked by someone who knows what they're looking for. We've just moved out of a Regus after 2 years (and counting) of constantly fighting their accounts team.
The broadband point...
Alternatively, see if you can get a remote working job & start moving around the world vlogging as you go. A friend of mine is a translator working off a laptop & voip phone. He's lived in Spain, Hong Kong, France, China & various places in the UK just this year. Nice life if you can get it...
Drinks not being discounted is a good idea for sure. But 50% off food for an independent would kill most if not all profit. I've run discounts mid-week with either set menus or a 20% discount for certain dishes - i.e. the one's I knew had a great GP and could stand being discounted.
A question...
As a former restaurant manager, for both a chain and independent restaurant, I would not be signing up for this. Bums on seats are fine if the restaurant can still make a profit but it's unlikely unless they spend a good amount on wet.
Also, from experience the next time those customers come...
It's from one of ours but is applicable to virtual offices. I can't post the link to the full Ts & Cs or PM you unfortunately as I don't have enough 'posts' here.
Good luck with getting money though, we've been consistently calling their accounts team on and off for the past 6 months about...
Within their General Ts & Cs (Paragraph 1.6) they state:
"If the Centre is no longer available: In the event that We are permanently unable to provide the services and accommodation at the Centre stated in an agreement, We will offer You accommodation in one of Our other centres. In the...
We use CharlieHR.com - free for under 10 employee's, their team is *very* responsive & our team love it. Super simple & notifies relevant people for holiday, sickness, WFH, etc.
If I'm a local small business with a shop, or otherwise, my marketing budget is likely to be limited. Taking a punt on a 'new form of advertising' with no data to back it up is unlikely to give me much confidence in the ROAS. If it's a potential 250k people seeing my ad for £40 it may be worth...
In a previous work life on the 1st/2nd outreach email I would include something of value for the recipient. Whether that's a blog we'd written (or not) that may help them solve an issue you know they have.
Adding value, especially if it's not something you've written is comfortingly jarring...
As people have said, nearly every VOIP provider could do this: can recommend VoipStudio and Kasookoo.
Also, spending some money to get a bespoke message is a nice touch, we use VoiceBunny for our own and client systems.
@Unai it may be worth speaking to someone like Adyen who do the 'money handling' for eBay or a similar gateway. They have specific marketplace products that could definitely streamline stuff for you.
Good luck with your project and be ready to learn a lot more about business in general really...
You could try BluePark Solutions. I believe they have a credit limit feature & their system is pretty versatile.
Alternatively, you could perhaps look at a payment gateway that supplies the credit on your behalf for example Klarna.
Either way good luck with your project.
