Covid-19 and take or pay contracts

Take or pay clauses will pretty much say that whether or not you take delivery of the goods, you are liable to pay for them. It will also mention a timeframe. For example, it can say that 10,000 units would be purchased in the next 12 months. If you don't you'd still pay for them. In some cases...

How many staff are you letting work from home

We started with 40 out of 40 from mid-March to mid-June. Then, 2 of the employees asked to go back to the office and that has not changed since then. I had never considered working from home before but, so far, the work continues to be done without any issues and I see no reason to rush back...

Would you stay in a hotel?

Some hotel chains are leaving rooms empty for 24hrs between guests. They do a deep cleaning after the guest departs and leave the room empty for 24hrs just in case.

Looking to rent a large open space in several cities to host fire eating workshops!

Initially, I found it amusing that there was something like fire-eating workshops. Then I was gobsmacked to learn that there are more than one person offering them! That just shows how narrow is my view of the world...

Would you stay in a hotel?

I do respect other people's opinions but the blanket statement that hotels in the UK are safer than hotels elsewhere needs to be considered... Stay in a 5-star hotel in Asia and you will see that their service and cleanliness are second to none. In general, I'd be more worried about the quality...

    Covid Hobbies

Making pizza from scratch. It took many attempts to get the dough just right. I'm now moving on to hydroponics and, by the looks of it, I may have found something even more finicky than pizza doughs.

    Ideas for new business

Given all that's happening in the world at the moment, I'd concentrate on vegetables as I cannot see you getting the permits to keep livestock in an indoor farm at a city centre's basement. For clarity, the fact it is technically possible does not make it financially viable.

    Ideas for new business

Indoor farming is indeed possible and there are a number of companies trying to make it financially viable. I just do not have the slightest clue of how close they are to achieving it.

    Setting up Farm business

Most new farmers are happy twice. When they buy the farm and then when they sell it.

Starting an airline, anyone want in?

That will make it twice in a day! :)

Starting an airline, anyone want in?

At that point, he had already been successful with Virgin Records and owned Necker Island. That was also over 35 years ago. I'm not saying the OP cannot pull it of or does not have the skills and experience. I'm just doubting the timing given that airline companies are bleeding money and...

Starting an airline, anyone want in?

Starting a brewery business now, are we mad?

Starting now may actually give you an advantage over established micro and small breweries as you can start by avoiding costs that others are already saddled with. In terms of starting by contracting others to produce your beers, read about how Innocent Drinks started out. It's a similar story...
