Thanks for the advice guys. Really appreciated.
Our t&cs specifically state that they should have inspected the goods and responded with issues on delivery, which they never did. It was only after the subbbie left site that the client brought some issues up. I’ve offered to remedy issues by...
We recently started a building project for a client, with sub-contractors carrying out the fitting. One of those ones that you'd rather not, but you need to pay the bills.
Part way through the project there were delays, and we pulled off site whilst we manufactured new materials. There were...
Thank you for that. I'll certainly do that instead.
Every email and quotation we send out makes reference to our terms and conditions. Nothing was mentioned either before or after by our customer.

From what I gather, you'll need to change your SIC code with companies house when you complete your confirmation statement. When and if you provided an SIC code to companies house, it was for planned activities. So if you're planned activities change, it shouldn't be a problem.
We have a small unit (5,000 sqft) that we use for manufacturing. My accountant has advised splitting the unit to take advantage of the increased small business rate relief so that we qualify for 100% relief.
Whilst I relish the idea of saving several grand, I'm a cynic, and have had run ins...
