    Spamalot - there are lots of companies that do 1- 3 month leases, for example: MWB,Citibase, Regus. The offices are good and with these companies it is easy to get started. However their charges for postage, diverting calls etc are expensive - but they are flexible.

    Being parochial - dealing only with my area - the food sector, I cannot remember sending or receiving a fax from a food buyer in the last 2 years. As pointed out earlier, scanning documents and e-mailing them as an attatchment is the easiest method.

    Agree with Boris,Ark and Van - unless its a big name, don't bother. There are some excellent franchises in the UK, but taking on some of them is as risky as taking on a pub.

    Is Company Set up needed for importing to UK

    Joy As Mike suggested, you do not need to set up a limited company, but for the price of setting up a limited company( £30) its worth doing as it looks more professional. A clearing agent could do this for you, but I for £50-£60 you can get a limited company, domain name and an e-mail address.
