I am looking to take regular monthly payments and was interested to know how a small business would prefer to pay. Generally speaking, if they would prefer paypal or stripe.
Hello All,
As a small business owner and putting everything else aside, would you to pay for a subscription (less than £20 per month) via Stripe or Paypal? Generally speaking, what would you prefer when signing up through a website?
Thanks!!!
Strangely I do agree with you here in some respects. SME's aren't interested in SM management because they are SME's and dont have the budget for something that they cant really measure. To measure it, you would be looking at a lot of money and investment in time, probably £300 per month.
But...
Basically this thread has been a waste of time because not one person has answered my question and simply given their uneducated opinion as to whether this will work or not. I am not asking if this will work, I know it will because I receive invoices every day from people providing the service...
I have been earning good money and flat sharing for 4 years so I have a sh*t load of money. The last two comments were not helpful at all. If anyone has actual input that would be great
haha! I am liking this response fisicx!
I am not sure why the long aaarrghhh, could you elaborate a little more?
I told myself this, I have run PPC campaigns for businesses for over 4 years with budgets in excess of 10k per month. I speak to freelancers subcontracting for huge companies every...
Hello All,
A long story short I have just quit my job as a digital media manager. I worked for a reputable agency in London managing digital marketing budgets for pretty big companies. I don't/didn't like working for other people so I have quit with some money in the bank and about to set up...
OK so to clarify in my case my only expense really is digital marketing and I will be charged VAT. Expenses - basically none. Average charge to a customer is £100.
It sounds like there is no point, in my case anyway to register for VAT off my own back as turnover is less than 40k
So lets say I spend £1000 on Google Ad Words and claim back £200 in VAT. And then I also charge £400 VAT to my customers on £2000 worth of services. The difference is £200. The VAT I charge to my customers goes to the VAT man and I keep claim back £200 from my Google Ad Words spend?
So...
Business owners are always saying and boasting about being able to claim back the VAT because they are VAT registered but when you claim back VAT it just goes to the VAT man????/
So there is no financial gain???
Sounds like that seems to be the case. I think that Ad words is obviously highly lucrative for some industries/businesses but for small guys it does seem tough.
Typically speaking....
Is it better to run a Google Ad Words campaign just on the search network or both? I think that the display network is inviting people to click when they are not looking for your service at that very moment and it is a better tool for businesses with bigger budgets?
I am...
OK all jokes aside now this seems to be a grey area as such and very dependent on each individual case. Will speak to HMRC on the phone, prob the best way...
