    Be honest, say you have no references but then provide proof of your capabilities some other way. By showing your passion many companies will be willing to take a risk on a person with the right attitude.

    computer glasses?

    I would be reluctant to purchase something like this - I have just spent an additional £40 for lens coating to reduce glare on normal glasses and I find them even worse than standard lenses!

    I have worked with many companies that still have legacy systems still running Access without the internal skills to support and extend them. There is money that can be made with Access skills but I agree with Cromulent, most clients are happy to move away to a more modern web/database server...
