I couldn't agree more with what's been said above, thinking small to start with is ok, but building it into something bigger is how most business's work.

I agree, Just Eat is what I use all the time and I think it's pretty popular. So when it comes to making an app for takeaways I'm afraid it's already been done.
I think a £1 cafe is a good idea, although I agree with what's been said previously about making enough profit and ensuring you get the customers you want. If you can be certain you'll make a profit with the idea, and its good one then I don't see any problems in starting up. Good luck
