Build their social media presence up through regular and engaging posts that reach their target market and provide regular detailed analytical reports, so that the business can see the impact.
I would avoid charging based on results, as:
It makes everything unnecessarily complex
Less reliable income stream for yourself
And even though results are easier to track through social media, it's impossible to know exactly how many clients you have generated
The best way to offer social media management as a freelancer is by having different monthly package options that you offer to the business, perhaps consider having 3 different options, for example:
Package A(£200)- X posts per month to X accounts
Package B(£300)- X posts per month to X...
I didn't know that was possible.
Lots of radio and T.V. adverts.
Top of the search results when you enter "jobs" into Google.
And businesses will often say on their website/ social media, we are recruiting, apply through Indeed.
I've found this happens anyway- you post a job on Indeed and it's also added to loads of other sites.
Because the jobs are so easy to apply for, just click a button in most cases, then you can end up with a lot of job seekers who aren't suitable for the position.
You can however ask...
Yes, if you're posting on Indeed I would recommend just going with a free advert. They encourage you to sponsor your advert, by saying you'll only get a small number of applicants and the option to post for free is less prominent when posting. Even before Covid, every free job advert we posted...
There are lots of independent businesses though that just do the old-fashioned sign in the window. However, these days when you have platforms like Indeed, I think posting online is definitely the best option, as it makes everything much more straightforward.
