Hi Andy,
A video sounds like a good idea, to illustrate your cleaning system in action, I saw something similar being used in Carnaby Street and was impressed.
£500 is very very tight budget bearing in mind good cameramen charge £300 day, let alone directors fee and voiceover (£300), editing costs etc. You would expect to pay £1500 minimum I would say.
I might be able to help you. I am a Producer/Director who also operates camera to a high standard for TV shows for BBC, Channel 4 etc. CV URL below. I want to do some business videos that feel like TV and not too corporate. I would suggest interviewing you about your service then doing nice shots of work in action, eg your cleaning poles.
The video should be 2 mins max as people won't stick with longer and I would upload it to the main video sharing sites like You Tube etc where it can also promote your company and then your web designer can easily insert it into your homepage.
I edit myself so could do a few hours filming and edit it within 2 days total. I could do something to a high level for £700 plus petrol from London return.
My CV.

The reason I am up for it at this rate is I want to start doing more of these as a second income so yours would be a showcase.
Let me know what you think.
regards,
jules
