    We topped them up as a goodwill gesture, this was in writing in the original furlough letter that they agreed to. The top up was not guaranteed other than for the month of April.     We topped up the salary for April during furlough so the holiday was paid at full pay, so does this mean I don't add it to the holiday pay balance?

    yes, the employee is on 24 days plus 8 bank holidays - but I suppose my question is would the bank holidays be counted as being taken during furlough or not? If not they get 2 more days holiday pay which is fine, I just want to get it right :)
