Parcelforce - Dispatch Bay - Bonkers Pricing

    I have just signed up on dispatch bay to see their prices.

    I have an account with parcelforce which I have held for about 6 years. and send 3000 packages a year.
    Dispatch bay, is cheaper than my own account

    24 hrs 7p cheaper
    large is £8 cheaper
    scotland 24 is 29p more expensive
    scotland 48 is £4.21 cheaper
    N Ireland 24 is £4.18 cheaper
    N Ireland 48 is £5.60 cheaper

    I will go to my account manager tomorrow and ask her to match the prices - whats the guarentee that she won't !!

    Hmmmm....just for the hell of it I just signed up to take a look at prices as well. The rates aren't great for sure and certainly more than we pay now. I then emailed support@ to cancel my account to got a bounce back of a permanent error on that email address which doesn't exactly bode well. Either they need to sort out their email accounts as if you can't even contact support then what's the point or are there so may people trying to contact them (late parcels?) that their system has crashed. Either way I'm far from impressed.

    I too have an account with Parcelforce, which I have never used, because their prices are so high (unlike their sister company RM, whose prices are excellent). When I priced a parcel once from them their website quoted me about £60, and I phoned them up to see if this was right. I was told (by someone who came across as totally incompetent and didn't seem to know what he was talking about) that this was right. I sent the parcel (which was too heavy for RM) with Parcel2go, for about £20 and have used them, when RM cannot send it, ever since.
