What software do you use to help you with pricing?

I am looking for software to help monitor profits/margins on daily basis. I need a tool or a piece of software to calculate exact profit for each product, taking into account cost price and various fees depending on the channel. I would like to be able to see with one click how the profits will change if I change the sale price and at what price you would be actually making a loss. Some reporting tools such as product performance over time would also be valuable.
I suspect the reply would be to use a spreadsheet. I would however prefer something with more user friendly interface that automatically does it all, rather than having to pull data and play with formulae. If nothing else is suitable, I may consider a ready made spreadsheet template. I am really hoping to avoid having to build one myself. :) And just to clarify - I do not need an accounting programs (I suspect some would do it) or order management software or anything else complex. Just a simple tool to use daily, which can show product prices and profits at a glance to help me with repricing when needed . Does such thing exist? What do you use?

I'm afraid the answer is.......

.. a spreadsheet

Once you've got one row set up for a product, you just copy it for other products. Any bulk changes can be easily applied across all rows using the click-and-drag facility.

You mentioned different channels, so I presume you mean you're trading online and have the required data in a database of some sort?

We use various php scripts that I wrote myself or outsourced to get our data. Much harder to set up, but much easier to use on a daily basis as you don't have to import / export data from different channels etc. Of course, this depends on whether all your data is in one place or not... (which ours is)

Hope this helps in some way shape or form?
