Want to Leave - Does anyone know how to delete their account?

    Ive been on here since 2006 and used to love it but things change and after recieving a couple of snotty PMs from mods in the last week (removed by mod - contents of PM) Ive got tired of the agrovation and Ive decided to leave....I just can't find the "delete account button"

    Let me stress that my issue is with the mods, not the fantastic members here. I will be sad to miss all but one of the members. Who the one I won't be sad to miss shall remain nameless, but this guy attempted to get some poor bloke fined for inadvertantly calling his phone number, then bragged about it on here and I just thought "what a twerp" and that feeling has never left me. This is about 2 years ago now so do a search to find out he is if your that curious.

    Anyhow. Fond farewells. Huggs, kisses and all that jazz.

    Simply because I am not going to need the handle "manchester hypnosis" any longer, but I can think of several people who might. There is no point in gumming up a useful name in a popular forum such as this when there might me an easy fix. I am just trying to do the decent thing.


    Surly even someone like yourself, who by their own signature need help in understanding if something is idiot proof, can see the logic in that. Or maybe you just wanted to sound off and annoy someone. If so, well done. Give yourself a deep fried Mars bar.


    I have PM'd the mods and got no reply. I just want to have this account deleted. I don't want sympathy, I want narky comments even less, I just want this account GONE! please!

    The simple answer is not to post any more or go in change your email to one that doesn't get to you, then change your password by random typing. That will mean you will never be able to post here any more. Deleting your account means that those members who have taken the time to reply to your posts will have wasted their time, so it isn't normal policy to delete accounts for that reason.

    If username is your concern, then we can change the username which will release the one you are currently using.
