Any reason why you need your accountant to be in exeter?

We have been going 18 years and our current and v.long standing accountant is in Hertfordshire (we were but are now on the dorset/devon border). I am just about to change to another accountants who are based in warwickshire, just goes to show you dont really need one locally!!

Hi Paul

You may find you get a few more responses if you post this in the Accounts and Finance section.

I regularly contribute to the forum and am not aware of any accountants on here from the Exeter area.

If it is an Exeter based accountant you want you could search here - https://www.acca-business.org/dom/

Their are several of us on here who act for clients all over the UK being online practices if thats of interest - my firm is one of them.

Thanks for your comments guys.

It's not essential that we have an accountant in Exeter (our current firm is in a different city), but I like the idea of using local suppliers where possible, which has added benefit when meetings are required, and so on.

Hi Paul

If you want to get in contact I'd be very happy to discuss your requirements with you.

Ok, thanks Nicola. We have a small but relatively complex business from a finance perspective (well, maybe not for an accountant) and would like someone who could support our future plans. We'll see who's about locally and will then venture elsewhere if we're not successful.
