HSBC Secure epayments went down at 11am yesterday (28th march) and is still not back up at the time of this post. Any one thinking of using this service should stay clear as this is now two major outages in the first quarter of this year. We have lost an estimated 8k because of their systems failing. Last time it was due to a corrupted database which they had to recreate because they had not back it up correctly. Their service is based in India.

Hi
In case you haven't seen it please look at the other thread on this forum concerning this issue which is now beginning to look extremley serious. The more of us who can act together the more effective we can be in dealing with this incompetence.

It is vital that everyone using this facility makes their branch manager aware of the situation. It would appear that HSBC the bank have very little knowledge of the workings or problems (and there are many) of the secure e payment website. It is absolutely disgraceful that the website has gone down for the second time in ten weeks, surely an organisation the size of HSBC should be able to solve this in a matter of minutes not 48 hours + however many more hours it will take to solve this.................
