WJP
I'm a Bristol-based social entrepreneur creating employment, training and mentoring opportunities for ex-offenders in order to address the skills gap and societal prejudice which prevent them finding work and drive the cycle of re-offending. I also speak regularly on a number of topics, including entrepreneurship, social enterprise, start-up, finance, fundraising and sponsorship, to a range of audiences.
I was an Entrepreneur in Residence for the University of Bristol, and am always interested to hear about EiR opportunities worldwide. Feel free to PM or email me if you'd like to discuss.
My entrepreneurial experience dates back eight years, when I first ventured into self-employment in the events sector. Since then I've held two directorships and have worked on-site at some of the biggest events in the UK (including Bestival, Reading and Glastonbury).
