During the week the Castle has fewer events and instead offers Midweek Dog Friendly B&B breakswith half price accommodation on the second and each subsequent night of your stayt. We are surrounded by 40 acres of Country Park with lakeland and woodland walks and even a hay meadow on our doostep, plus doggie paddling pools and a shallow river dogs can bathe in. Dogs stay free at the Castle and can dine in the bar areea with their owners.
We also offer monthly Ghost tours of our reputedly haunted castle cellars and upper levels. If you beleive in ghosts, or are just curious, book a Dinner B&B and come on a night like no other, at a hotel like no other, where you will be holding seances, operating voice boxes and seeking conversations and answers from the Spirit world.
