Hi, I work in Career Guidance helping people from the military make their transition into the civilian workplace. There are some first class managers and leaders leaving the military and we offer a FREE recruitment service to employers.
There is also the option of 'try before you buy' whereby...
With any of the reputable autoresponders i.e. AWeber and GetResponse you cannot do this. They are fanatical about spam and bounce rates for emails. If you hadn't been in regular contact with your PayPal list of subscribers, then the chances of them suddenly receiving emails from you via the...
Weebly is a website builder I used when first starting out and thought I was the bees knees with the creations I was building:redface:
It is a great piece of wysiwyg software that allows you to build professional websites in a really short time.
The very basic package is free and you can buy...
:) that is funny but absolutely true. All they see is a lost position they didn't fill because your friend got it under her own steam.........they also see about £1800 going down the drain!
If no contract was signed, then the recruitment company is in no position to tell your friend who she can and can't work for.
Ask her to give ACAS a quick bell and I'm sure they'll tell her the same.

How do you suggest I inform readers that the 'promotional' link in my signature is an affiliate link........is it not obvious? Is it illegal? I don't think so and never in any way made a direct sales pitch.....that's not how I operate.
All I can, and ever will comment on is my own experience...
Phil,
SEO has changed so much in the last year with Google slapping down many of the big sites that had been at the top of the search engines for years in some cases. Why did they do this? They did it because those sites had no 'relevance' - i.e. they were SEO'd through the Ying Yang and...
I only use HostGator because their live support is second to none. Also their package of about £5 per month allows unlimited domains, unlimited bandwith and unlimited webspace.
I'm having real problems at the moment waiting to build a site for a customer who had their hosting with a UK...
With WordPress and the thousands of beautiful themes they have, it is a challenge but exciting for anyone to build their own website these days without having to know any code.
At the home of WordPress there is no end of support/tutorials etc.
Also on YouTube there are hundreds of video...
Hi,
Ezine Articles is also a great resource for students like yourself; I found some articles that may just help your thought process -

I would agree with PDRD. If you mention it at interview, it could scupper your chances.
Once you get your contract then look thoroughly at the small print regarding 'outside interests' - you say there's almost zero chance of potential conflict but if there's any doubt, then I would suggest...
That's right Geoff. Those T & Cs refer to the information on the site and when I move forward with someone, we then agree stringent T&Cs so both parties are fully aware of the expectations on each.

Charlie, the T&Cs refer to my website and the information contained therein. When I do a piece of work for someone, I get a mutually agreed contract written up and that is legal & binding. That way, there is no ambiguity surrounding expectations for both parties.
