Wow, it helps that I'm not alone, all the above resonate with me. I desperately need to update my website but I just can't focus on it. I open it up, look at it, and there's a mental block. I close it again. There are just too many plates to keep spinning, but when it's just you, it's difficult.
Yes, we've had similar nonsense from Barclays and had to fill out forms for both of our businesses - all sorts of information required, turnover, income etc etc. They also said if we didn't comply they would restrict the two business accounts, so had to comply. Not very happy about it though...
I was under the impression that updates on Open Cart were very few and far between and it was slowly being overtaken by WordPress. At least that was the advice I was given about a year ago, and seemed to be backed up by reading on their support forum.
I have been sending to individual addresses in Russia with Parcelforce and Royal Mail for many years now, and although it is expensive they always clear customs and are delivered successfully. It used to take many weeks, but thankfully it's now only 2-3 weeks or so.
It might be worth looking at Norsk.Global - I send lots of dolls to the USA and find them very competitive.
On another note, did I dream it, or did I once see someone on here ships for a sensible cost to Russia? Norsk only have patchy coverage in Russia.
I had a feeling someone on here had set...
I can highly recommend Mark and his team at VTS Design. I was having an awful time with a website that really wasn't up to it and sales were non-existent - and to boot had spent loads of money on something that was, basically, useless.
Mark stepped in and I haven't looked back since. My website...
I can highly recommend Mark at VTS - over the past few weeks he's given my site a complete makeover and I've switched to their hosting - which was smooth and seamless. They really are brilliant - nothing's too much trouble.
An interesting discussion. We have two businesses and two Facebook pages. I work at it in fits and starts, when the mood takes me - though probably not the best approach. Sometimes I chuck a tenner at a post to 'boost' it, and I maybe get one or two comments, but I don't really think it...
Hi Daran01, although it hasn't happened to me, there are numerous instances if you go and have a look at the eBay boards - i.e. the Business Seller Board, Seller Central. How about re-posting an identical post on there? Of course it could get removed, but you might get several interested...
I have to say, I find this £100k start up cost a bit mind boggling. We have a cookshop and when we started we went out and bought about 10 of those chrome wire stands, a couple of dressers, four pine tables, a counter and a few other bits and pieces - I can't remember the cost, but no more than...
It's just myself and husband Chris here. I'm manning the shop single-handed as Chris is fitting Rayburns/plumbing. Neither of us pay ourselves anything - we just take the minimum that we need as and when. This year the Rayburns and plumbing have completely taken over and we are both stressed...
