Good morning
It’s been 7 months since an objection to my voluntary strike off. I received letters 5 months ago from Westcott etc demanding payment. I spoke with them explaining the company ceased trading and had no assets.
I understood that after 6 months the strike off would be reinstated but...
Just an update. After I sent the debt collection firm an email explaining I was no longer trading I checked today and instead on outstanding balance it now says ‘closed’
So not sure what has or is happening now

Thank you for taking time to reply. I’m hoping given the relatively small amounts owed compared to some I’ve read about. Surely with no assets and on my pension it would be expensive to pursue.
I have filed with companies house to strike off my company. I am now retired and receive state pension. My company have the following debts.
Corporation tax £7200
Bank overdraft £2500
Bounce back loan £2200 (was £20,000 but repaid most 2 years ago)
Directors loan account debt £6500

Thank you for all your replies. The dla is nil so am thinking “ if I simply don’t pay the ct it will go away” basic but possible ? I’m state pension age in a few weeks too 😎
