What about setting up an offshore business or one in a low tax jurisdiction, then with that new company purchase the house with it as a Ltd company with a loan from your current business.
Easy right?
The new company would have a 150k loan and you can just leave it at that.
Seems to me she wanted to know that if you can reclaim during the period BEFORE registration do you also have to PAY for those goods/services as well. The answer is NO. It is a great option to be able to reclaim before registering. That is my experience.
Graconnor...if an EU company has a EU VAT nr...you can charge VAT...there is a new Interstat that tracks this now...and declarations should be made...but you must have the VAT nr for both companies to do this.
You dont charge VAT if the other company doesnt have an EU Vat nr. though

a company could charge VAT though it is not necessary. as long as you pay HMRC back..not a problem. thats what our accountants told us.
funny...someone at the client office where I use the VPN told me she tried to use the company computers and the system said it had a Trojan alert.
