    Wordpress itself is a free blogging platform with awesome themes. The only fees you will face are for the hosting and purchasing of your own domain name. You can get hosting for $10 a month at Hostgator and get a nice domain from NameCheap - prices vary.

    I learned how to create my own website - took me a month of doing so. The only costs that I face are the hosting costs = $10 a month and the one time domain purchase. I might decide to get some SEO done or maybe just do it myself. my site is cubictronics.com
