Unless I’m mistaken, can’t your friend technically take out a logbook loan / finance with the car as a PG?
They can’t take assets with outstanding finance.
I think once out API is working as planned (automated printing from Amazon) it will be. We charge extra on Prime lines to cover the postage, I think customers are always willing to pay a little more for that reassurance of delivery.
time will tell.
With amazon SFP you HAVE to buy shipping though amazon.
For example we pay about £3.10 for a DPD EP5 parcel but I HAVE to order postage by amazon and it costs about £6.70
Thanks guys. Thats a pain. Would be easier if Amazon just asked for weight and format in that case. Glad we invested so much in a fully automated postage system a year ago to prevent us having to do just this :/
Hi all,
we have started SFP with amazon using RM tracked services that we have had applied to our account.
we use standard 24/48 so know the dimensions for these but unsure with the tracked 24 service.
Does tracked still go by the large letter / small parcel format or is it a 1 size fits all...
Hi all,
Unsure if I’m heading down a regulated area.
Say we sell watches, we already offer a 5 year warranty as standard.
I want to offer on some higher margin lines the option to add “accidental damage” to the warranty for 1 year for example.
So at checkout customers would be able to pay...
We get this a lot. We also occasionally sell directly to the NHS. we have been offering NHS orders as cost but only directly to the NHS. We have every man and his dog claiming to with with the NHS, for the NHS or is buying the item for someone loosely affiliated to the NHS.
Stripe does support 3DS but we had to jump though hoops to get it working. But it does offer some good review features, we used to have it so that if the AVS didn't match (billing vs shipping address) we would manually review.
If Shopify support it I would recommend Braintree, they will match...
BACS, as in a standard bank transfer? That’s not possible. You can’t put a chargeback on a BACS payment.
Chargebacks are only for credit and some debit cards.
Who processed the payment? Do you have liability shift? Didn’t the transactions pass though 3DS? Did they pass AVS? (shopped to the cards registered address)
liability shift if very important, if you processed the payments using 3DS then liability is usually shifted to the card issuer and you...
Largely depends on budget and platform.
currently we have
Back end developer 2 days a week
Front end developer ad-hoc
Server guy ad-hoc
Project manager ad-hoc
SEO / marketing 30 hours a week
A lot goes on with large scale sites. We are still pretty small but are very progressive.
