Have personally been working with e-commerce for many years and have experience from importing from chinese factories (I lived there for 5 years before).
Nowadays i don't work with e-commerce myself, but offer dropshipping software with products from european suppliers or directly from china...
One problem that i have experienced myself when importing from china, is that they give you a great sample, then after you place an order for 1000 pcs, the quality differs a lot, so my advice is to control the quality before they deliver the products
