    In my opinion, you should try to sell the equipment at the best possible price and refund some of the total money and get some more time to think. Ask your wife to give any good suggestion that she think would work and stick with your family members. I will pray for your recovery!

    In my opinion, I think you should go with the clients first policy, because in simple words staff can wait for work but clients won't do that. Cheers!
