I can feel what you are going through brother. but i want to ask, have you engaged some "greyhat-generated-leads" to try market your services to?

I do get your point, and im on same page.
reason i often say its better to get quality data/leads, targeted and with full info so the caller know what he/she is saying.
For instance we source quality leads for call centers or telemarketer to engage with. We often ensure its more of quality also.
Emailing is still relevant, depending on the list source, the relevancy of the message and what a view.
Although a lot of changes, but like they often say, the money is in the list.
If i may weigh in, if you will cold call a "complete" stranger, you must have some maybe shopping/browsing history of that person at hand.
Afterall Google, and Facebook are using this "retargeting" tactics on us, simply by tracking our browsing and usage history.

I think in the business of closing deals there is somehow the need to call your customer/client.
Gone a re the days where some beautiful writeups or emails will do the trick. The good old cold-calling still doing the trick..lol
