We get several orders every day from edirectory and overall it works out reasonably OK and against other PPC shopping sites, it's manageable from a finance point of view.
The downside is payment up front and the initial setup...

We got the deal as good as we could on unlimited products (I think it was about £900 + VAT) but we stretched it to 15 months instead of 12 and agreed to pay in 2...

From past experience I would much prefer to go with a local accountant, they tend to be on the ball with regards to local initiatives, contacts, training, policy etc.
Quickbooks advisors link very useful, will look further into that.

We have just relocated and I need to change my accountant to someone local. For two reasons really - 1) so I am nearby for dropping off paperwork, meetings etc and 2) to try and save on the cost of my current accountant who is probably a bit high-flying for my simple needs!

Oh I would dearly love to know what Kate (or anyone else) is paying! I am negotiating the same deal at the moment but am very reluctant to pay for ANYTHING up front - why should we? Nobody else expects this and it removes a large proportion of incentive for them to ensure it works for us!

Right now Ebay Express is rubbish unless you sell specific items in very specific categories. Very few categories are active and Ebay are unable to provide any timetable for expansion.
Also, listings have to be in a very specific format and the required format items cannot be bulk edited...
