    Advice needed about adverse possession

It Takes more than a fence to claim adverse possession...you need PROOF that you have been looking after the up keep of the property like a rent book for your tenant or receipts for your council tax on the property. And the house is not yours after 12 years, you then have to wait a further ten...

Had a quote for solicitors to write T&C's for my website...

Be very careful using ebay T&Cs as many of them contravene UK law, the EU e-commerce directive and The Distance Selling Regulations. Don't trust anyone who will charge you £500 an hour for an off the shelf document.

How many ways to make T's & C's legally binding?

As long as you are adhering to the distance selling regs yourself, then as long as you have published you own T&C's and state they are legally binding from the moment they purchase from you, then I'd have thought that would suffice.

Post and Packaging costs - your thoughts please

The dsr stars aren't just there to enhance your profile page, they actually have a direct affect on the placement of your BIN listings, so if overcharging for postage could cause a seller to drop down the best match search rank, then surly it is to be avoided. I think the Opening poster has it...

    Trademakr infringement

Don't write to them or they will only have more evidence in writing if they intend to prosecute. You are better off phoning them and putting your case over the phone first to test the water.

    Ecommerce fees for newbie

High Dave, I just don't like to see FSB badges on retail sites it makes them look amatureish IMHO. It looks OK on a tree surgeon or plasterers website as it shows them as trying to be progressive in there approach but in online retail I just think people need to look like they are well...

    Amazon question

I'm trying to list some items on Amazon and I can't find a UPC on my product. It seems I will need to get a ASIN number from somewhere on the Amazon site which uniquely identifies my product. Had a good look around Amazon but can't seem to find the right page. I've found the same product for...

    Trademakr infringement

Bought in a market?...what do you think! Dhalia, you have been caught bang to rights by the rights owner and all you can do is ring them up and grovel and get them to drop the price to settle and apologise profusely to them. They can and will prosecute you if they choose to, so get them to...

    Ecommerce fees for newbie

I think that their are anough benefits to justify the price of joining the FSB (but I wont be displaying the badge on my website) Regarding Streamline...I thought the £250 was for setting up my merchant account not for connecting to worldpay

E-commmerce sites and creating an account

What's so funny is that we hadn't even looked at what we'd bought so on closer inspection can I change the order to the Blue Grass 11881, because my wife loves that? Cheers

How much does it cost to become a member of the FSB? And do you have to have a proven turnover or would streamline waiver those costs for a start-up that's an FSB member?

E-commmerce sites and creating an account

Cycloneuk... I was just snooping round your website with my wife like people do round here and checking out your one page checkout when we decided to test the telephone ordering option on your checkout page to see how it works. When we ticked the telephone ordering with an empty form nothing...
