My company deals with the transport of food and liquid waste. We have hired a tanker from another company and recently we incurred a cost of £5000 to modify the tanker from Milk carrying to Silage.
Can i CAPITALISE the cost ?
Company's annual returns is from 01/10/2010 to 30/09/2011. HRMC must have sent you a letter confirming this date.
If you were a soletrader before you set up the company, then you must notify HRMC and produce your final account as soletrader upon which income tax will be calculated.

Depreciation is calculated by dividing the cost of audio software by the lifespan of the audio software.
If you buy audio software for £200 and it will last for 4 years. then depreciation for each year is £50.
