I agree with Andy, it might be worth a call to NetBanx as well as I think they cover adult content.
If any of the UK Acquirers have given you a merchant ID, I'd be happy to take a look at the site and quote.
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Toni,
Not to worry you more than you already are but 3D Secure is not fool proof, my last understand is that some chargeback codes are not covered by 3D Secure and dependent on your current chargeback thresholds they can also make 3D Secure and VBV redundant.
Worth a chat to your...
Hi,
I would be happy to quote for your service. At CreditCall we are an independent Payment Service Provider who link into all the UK Acquirers.
Some differences you'll find with us other other providers:
We only charge for settled transactions and we don't charge for VBV, 3D Secure, CV2...
Very good points.
One of the other points you should check on when choosing a Payment Provider is who wrote and designed the software and if it's created and managed in house for the very reasons Iridium states.
P.S - You couldn't beat me on price :p
No worries.
I'll introduce you to a couple of contacts and then you can see how you go. There's no lock in to using CreditCall at all so if you wanted to use a bank terminal or another provider thats fine.
Could you pm me your email address and I will introduce you. I suppose merchant...
Have you considered shopping around and going through risk for a formal merchant agreement, if you get through risk the likelyhood is you'll be paying less for credit and debit card processing.
If you want a couple of introductions to different acquirers then I can help you out.
Hi Jetlag,
Ideally you would need a merchant account from any of the UK Acquirers. I would suggest getting a terminal rental rather than a virtual terminal (chip and pin has lower merchant service rates and less chargeback risk than a virtual terminal). Virtual terminals are basically...
If your setup for accomodation and it's just a trading name as such then you should be able to get away with Mediakitchen trading as ABC Travel or vice versa.
Can you get RBS Worldpay to change the identifier on your customers bills from Mediakitchen to ABC Travel? You should be able to...
You need to be very careful with this. Has your merchant services been setup for Website design or accomodation??? Unless you have some kind of generic approval to use your merchant agreement for multiple uses you could fall foul to card scheme rules.
This could lead to more than just...
Hi Mark,
You're paying them for 2 things. Your paying HSBC for your merchant services (MSR) and also your HSBC Secure Payments. How much are you paying for the latter? I expect your paying a whole lot more than using an independent and without the same level of functionality.
HSBC offer good...
Sorry I totally disagree with this advice (I would I'm the e-commerce manager for CreditCall).
All the banks payment arms including HSBC Secure Trading are indeed middle men, you're not cutting any one or thing out, you're actually putting all your eggs in one basket.
If for example you...
