Do we really need another topic on this ?
There are soooooo many topics on this forum asking the same thing.
Use the search function and ye shall find all manor of information and advice...
I agree but unfortunately you never really know how good these are until the point comes when you actually need it.
When looking for a host I advise anyone to pitch a few questions at them via these help channels to see the quality of the response (even if you know the answers). It can be very...
I see what you mean but it's a contentious issue.
The fact that their branding is different would make any complaint or action quite hard to prove I would have thought.
Not quite sure really what else to suggest, I'm think you are possibly a casulty in what appears to be a cut throat industry...
Personally I wouldn't even bother, such negotiations can be a long and drawn out process, furthermore if someone detects that you have an interest in their domain then it's highly unlikely they will give it up for such a nominal sum.
I would advise that you give up on the idea and think of a...

As someone else...
With due respect to the person who wants the website to rent out their two caravans, their business would be relatively small. Consequently, thinking up another appropriate domain name would be the easiest option IMO because the current proposed name is not exactly crucial to the success of the...
You didn't mention which OS you would be using but unfortunately, I don't know any current laptop that has true WUXGA.
However, ASUS have the Transformer Infinity tablet that has 10.1" WUXGA Full HD (1920 × 1200) but it's not a 15 incher.

Hmmm...
Thank you for that snippit of advice (as a first post) however I think the topic starter already knows that...
(I sense a spam post coming on later....)
Like 'allthat' says you are no obligation to pay them any wage whatsoever.
This is a contractual arrangement so as long as the terms are clearly set out then thats all you need to do.
