Do sales people exist that can sell INTO Recruitment companies?

Agreed. Its likely an equity stake would be offered to the right person who came in early. So investment in their skills early for a better payback later on.

CAM/CIM - Diploma in Digital Marketing, worth it??

Instead of getting a qualification in digital marketing I'd suggest instead seeing if you can get a formal qualification in social media strategy. So many orgs believe they need to use social media but are feeling their way in the dark - i'dve thought someone with a very 'hot topic'...

Do you ask website clients 'What's you budget?'

Put some broad indicative costs on your website, so customers know the type of money they are going to be looking at. If they don't want to pay that money they wont contact you - gets rid of the 'tyre kickers'! Or as another user has said put it in your web enquiry form as a particular question.

4 things... 1) register your business on Google. Therefore anyone searching online locally will find you 2) get previous customers (and new ones) to provide you with good testimonials - then add these to your van (remove the names if need be of your customers), and get them to also add their...

Should I add online video to my business web sites?

Video is useful if you want to add an instruction video or 'how to do X', but be careful not to have videos that tell everyone specifically your USP - otherwise they might be able to go and do what ever you do themselves and cut you out of the process. If you do decide to go for Video also add...

    Exhibiting at business shows

Generally trade shows can become expensive (cost of space, dressing your area, cost of staff there, hotel accommodation etc), having said that like others have mentioned here they can be a success for you. However success starts along time before the show itself... Don't just expect to rock...

Should i choose a domain name with an innuendo in the name?

Agreed it depends on the sector you're in - but I'd say give it a go (what have you to loose) - just plan to have something more professional to fall back on as a fall back plan. No doubt 'Virgin' was considered risque initially!

    Other avenues for marketing please

Hi Richard, I've looked at your website and reckon your site has great scope - ignore the critics - its easy for people criticize - its harder to be constructive. Although Rated People etc are out there dig a little deeper and you will find that there are many bad reviews of these sites in...
