Energy Procurement Advice in the current climate

Ozzy, happy to chat about it any time. In terms of the large MAT - if they are spending that much and budgets are that tight then the upcoming increases in standing charges are going to be a real issue, they are also much harder to reduce is they are based on location and usage. These will...

Energy Procurement Advice in the current climate

Depends on energy spend versus other costs, for many companies, large and small, energy is not big enough to "shift the dial" and so rightly is given a low priority.

Energy Procurement Advice in the current climate

Not the worst advice. Depends to an extent when your contract is actually due and how important electricity spend actually is. There are plenty of businesses where even a doubling in energy prices wouldn't affect them. Also remember that "energy" only makes up about 35% of the price you pay -...

Energy Procurement Advice in the current climate

Wow, if a broker had written that, I'd be suggesting they are miss selling. Firstly I can think of just 2 suppliers who are not pricing at the moment - both aimed as SME market who would not quote for a school anyway. Its unlikely you've heard of either of them as they are very small. So to...

Commercial Energy Procurement - Energy Reduction - Solar

Easier to just use SEG? I presume they are using most of the power during working hours? Of sell them a battery and use all the power. Savings on the power should cover the finance easily enough.

    AI does have its uses

If you ask it to fix security issues, it will do that too. And if you screenshot it, it will improve the CSS as well.

Trying to buy a domain name I hold?

They do provide a brokerage service for domains, where they'll try and contact the owner, so maybe. Sold domains for thousands, not quite millions.

Product Description's when you need to upload 38,000 new SKU's

presumably you have some known variables for each product? Red, cotton, egpytion, size xl, v neck - for a tshirt. Use python to process the data, create title, description, etc - manage randomness, etc. What would you pay for a tool that could process 1M SKUs? DM me if you want to chat about it.

    Website valuation

I've bought and sold websites. If it's money making, then as @Ozzy says, it's fairly easy to look at revenue, estimate profit and go from there. If it's just a domain, then I look at what that domain offers - For example, is it a brand name or keyword that people will type in or will remember...
