I'm a freelance web designer who's always on the lookout for clever marketing ideas - and over the weekend I came across this article written by another freelance web designer about his foray into the "Gift Economy"...
I sometimes question if the free linkedin is worth the cost!!
I don't much like it from a UX point of view and simply do not find it engaging. I've hundreds of "connections" but have failed to generate a single job, or even a lead from Linkedin.
some hosts have their security settings absurdly high, and simply uploading a wordpress installation has got my IP blocked from a server on occasion - check with your host to see if your IP has been blocked,.. but if not they'll be able to reset your password in a matter of seconds if u need it.

A new ecommerce business is built on passion & determination - profits are often not seen for some time!
Perhaps you can turn this into a PR opportunity - the "a community focused business seeks a new manager with local knowledge to grow a local resource" story could get you some newspaper and maybe even radio coverage....
You should be able to get a new manager in the position within 2 weeks,.. I honestly think an interim mentioning agency would cause more disturbance than good in such a short term,... it'd be all re-organizing things their way, which may be completely incompatible with the new managers way...
