I'm Nano — I run The Contractor's Admin, based in Nottingham.

I didn't take a straight path here. I started out heading into childcare, went through a few years of setbacks along the way, and eventually found my way into admin — completely by accident, in the wrong environment for it. Turns out it was the right skill at the wrong job, so I decided to do it properly, on my own terms.

I'm dyslexic, diagnosed late, and I know what it's like to be told a certain path isn't for you. That's part of why I do this work — I like helping people feel organised and in control of something that used to feel chaotic, because I know what the other side of that feels like.

Now I help contractors and small business owners get on top of the admin and day-to-day operations side of running a business — inbox, scheduling, quotes, invoicing, the stuff that eats time when you're busy actually doing the job you're good at.

Still early days for me as a business owner, but I'm here, I'm learning, and I like being around people doing the same thing.
