TIDE offer a free sole trader bank account I used them (for a ltd company account) set up was within minutes, and card arrived in a few days quite happy with them so far- MyTonyAcc

VAT MTD Manual Filing
Is it free? It is free the first time you file your VAT Return through ANNA. After that, it costs £3.50 + VAT per filing. They must have updated that - it used to be completely free- MyTonyAcc
