Follow the local Tesco delivery van around. Drop flyers through their customers letterboxes saying "Fed up with flacid, bruised, out of date, tasteless veg? Buy from me!"
How about the River Cottage route? Add value. Over stocked on something, then turn it into chutney, pickle, soup...
An online store isn't going to work for you with 1200 products. They'll be in and out of stock daily, you'll never keep it up to date. Picking and packing will be a nightmare.
How about offering a fruit & veg box service? Include the basics and vary it with seasonal produce. Description on...
Parcelforce will send you a letter demanding payment before they'll deliver. I'm guessing about £50 to pay on a heavy £120 package, as you'll probably be charged vat on the shipping too.

Lots of useful info and a free helpline on lease-advice.org.uk
You all have rights as leaseholders, and what sounds like your 'Right to Manage' company has obligations to leaseholders. All this is detailed in your lease and the articles of the RTM Company.
The fact that the money has been...
We're RTM, so can't comment directly, but I can't see how/why they can bar a leaseholder from joining, that would be a cartel.
Give Lease-advice dot org dot uk a call for specialist free advice. They're impartial and government funded. Very knowledgeable.

I don't believe so. But if you're a leaseholder then you have the right to join the Right to Manage company, they can't stop you.
You then get a vote.
Mr Chips
Really? I though it was under 15% and struggling. Happy to be corrected if you can quote a source... The ONS figures are more than a little difficult to sift through.
Mr Chips
I'm guessing you've got a pallet arriving.
If you use another company they'll probably charge you about the same, you may save a couple of quid, but not a fortune. They're providing services that you need to pay for, you'll not get your goods otherwise. And if you don't pay within a few days...
I'm a UK based small manufacturer. I started in 2008, just as the recession took hold but was blissfully unaware at the time, I wasn't savvy with what was happening in the economy and was simply responding to a demand for my product. Naive perhaps.
Business has been growing year on year...
Everything you make will need to be certified by a chemist. I believe you can get custom formulations approved for around £200ea. Convincing people to buy it is a different matter - what makes your formulation better than others? No offence, but you don't sound like you have any experience in...
You're looking at about the right markup for general retail. Most of my customers work on AT LEAST x2.5 which is around 2x plus vat. After all, these people have rent/rates and salary to pay.
This also assumes that you're VAT registered, selling to other VAT registered companies. If you're...
I will :)
Magento is resource hungry, so you're best to find a host who are clued up to this and have specifically tuned their servers. Nublue have been good for me so far, they know their onions.
You *can* create your own Magento store, but you'll need to have a good knowledge of XML, php...
Yes, you can sell soap made by someone else. You can brand it as you wish, so long as it's named sensibly. You can't call it "Acne curing soap" if you can't prove it.
You will need to make sure you conform with the legal requirements for selling cosmetic products...
