In addition to the replies above, did your Mother not chase the accountant at all?
I would like to think that if I was only giving the accountant eight days to submit the accounts I would be asking for updates as and when the days were passing.
Communication is a two way street.
An often discussed topic on the old Seller Forums. Despite the FAQs stating that you can use a debit card, in reality you can not.
Know this from experience too-tried multiple times with a business debit card issued by NatWest and each time it failed to work. First time trying with a credit...
This is something that we've done.
We used a firm in Washington called Gerben Law.

Not sure of your budget but for us, they offered value for money and were very, very efficient.
HTH
I listened to a very good interview with the French MP for Calais on this, and his opinion made total sense:
1. He claimed that by scrapping all benefits for the "boat" people would automatically eliminate 50% of all migrants trying to reach our shores. I appreciate that they may only receive a...
Quite a bit of negativity towards Amazon, which doesn't surprise me at all. However, if you want to sell in volume, then they are potentially, in conjunction with other sales channels, a very important outlet.
For us though, as a strategy, last year we decided to start focusing on products...
Ours was linked automatically. Try your ES number in the checker and if that fails, try your NL number. Either should suffice for clearance purposes. Validation may be made here:

Save your money as there is no need for you to do this.
If you have a Spanish VAT number then you automatically have a Spanish or EU EORI number. Our Spanish EORI is exactly the same as our Spanish VAT number and we use it to clear in France without any issue at all.
I feel your pain but at the end of the day, it's their business and up to them how they run it, just as you have a choice to sell elsewhere.
We used to love selling on there-they made life easy for us to work with them and the fees were affordable. Our experience has now been crippled by the...
It may be just a name, but it's a name that has some equity, unlike the brand/channel Onbuy.
Who knows what they're going to do with it, but one thing is for sure, is that it is a recognisable high street brand that people remember which is a good place to start from.
I think that this is...
We tried onbuy last year, and it was a catastrophic waste of time.
We made a few sales, but we're talking of less than £100 a month.
Should also add that we were lured in with no seller fees for the first six months, they then changed it to a subscription based model which is when we decided...
Are you only selling in Spain and NL, or are you part of the pan EU programme?
I ask as for us, and pretty much everyone I know, Spain is one of the smallest markets. If you are pan EU, then send the goods into France.
We send all of our stock there without issue, and Amazon then move it...
And have you factored in both the cost of returns and money that you will lose when the customer doesn't receive the goods? A dollar profit per sale doesn't really make it a viable model. IMHO.
I have to ask, why the UK? Would you not be better off establishing yourself in your own country first? Thereby ironing out any teething problems in your domestic market first.
