We've recently applied for a trademark through the IPO who have been really helpful & informative. It is going through the process now, whereby the IPO publish in an online directory for 2 months.
Surprise surprise, as soon as we'd had the confirmation I received an invoice from a company called...
I had a random Docusign Document sent through for approval this morning. The reply email looked decidedly dodgy.
I did look at it it twice though as I'd actaully completed & signed a form through Docusign from our accountant so thought it could be related. Maybe i need to let the accountants...
My mum lost her purse in the house on Tuesday, containing £200 cash & her debit card. She is 91 and still very independent but getting slightly forgetful. We knew she had had it that morning as she'd put the cash in it.
The only thing out of the ordinary was that someone had been in to fit a...
Just an update after all the stress I went through trying to get this payment in...
Because Handelsbank refused any type of paymenet rom Brazil (even though it was in sterling) We reinvoiced using Virgin Money as our bank account as we have a seperate, independent company with them (we checked...
@fisicx That's interesting, maybe i can suggest they do that, although with it being a government type payment (Institute of Art & Culture) this might not be allowed?
I'd have thought this situation would have come up at least a few times before if they do dealings with the UK, and I did tell...
Good afternoon all,
We are installing a rain effect in a theatre for the Ministry of Culture in Brazil, renting the equipment to them for a show. Two crew will go out to do the fit up later this month. (We have worked in similar circumstances before, but for a different Brazilian company). We...
In our area we have a monthly magazine full of adverts for local trades. It is delivered to ever household. It is amazing that in this age of googling, the print version remains so popular. It is expanding because the advertisers are getting results.
When we have to sign an NDA it is usually when doing certain specialist works for major events etc.to ensure that we don't spoil any element of surprise prior to an event.
We once got our knuckles rapped when a local newspaper interviewed us & we showed them an effect we were developing for an...
I find the forum very informative and have learnt quite a bit from here over the years. I post only occasionally - at first I was quite nervous about posting questions, however having seem some of the other posts over the years I don't think I needed to worry! I visit a couple of times every...
We wouldn't be without our broker. He gives us total confidence that any issues we have will be dealt with. We are a bit of a 'one off' business so need flexibility, so if and when a situation arises we know he will support us.
I am planning to give some proper focus to this next week and would be interested to hear how you get on as well Gary. I'm looking forward to finding out how much the 'delivery partners' on the supplier list know about the scheme!
Glad it's worked for you Tony!
I have never even thought about Trustpilot - because we are quite niche we do like getting real quotes from our clients, some of whom are quite big name. Rightly or wrongly I presumed Trustpilot was more of a 'star rating' review which is a bit less personal. I...
Well, thanks to your email I have just applied (took me about 15 minutes) and I have been identified as needing marketing funding and have been approved for a voucher! I have until mid June to claim it. I now have to find time to need to read all the whys and wherefores as it is typically not...
Testimonials are important to us - and funnily enough I always read them on others' websites. The most difficult bit is getting them! I email clients after each job to ask if they will write a line or so, but if they don't reply then I don't think it's not really appropriate to chase them.
