I provide e-commerce website design and development and my clients are always asking me for a recommendation for SEO services (I stopped offering SEO 18 months ago due to it being so difficult/time consuming to see results these days!)
I have one client who's just been paying £320/month for SEO...
I started a new business selling goods in US Dollars, and I pay my suppliers in US Dollars. It's been challenging to think of a way to avoid exchanging currency to GBP and back again. Here's what I found:
When withdrawing USD from PayPal to a UK foreign currency account in USD, they exchange...
Thanks I've decided to go ahead and not make any changes to the application after I spoke to @FrazerBye this afternoon. He was immensely helpful and if there is any opposition to my application then I'll also be asking him to act on my behalf. Thanks for the recommendation
I've now completely changed my domain name to avoid misunderstandings as much as possible.
I mentioned "we have not registered in the same classes/categories at all, although there is some overlap". Let's say 'cat biscuits' appear in the class I registered in, and also the class they registered...

I submitted a UK trademark application and have just received confirmation from the trademark office that, if I proceed with my application, they'll be contacting other trademark owners to notify them. They say "My initial view is that your trade mark and your goods are similar to the earlier...
Thanks FrazerBye, the application is already underway and I'm glad I went ahead and included products that I will be selling in future as well. My application is now considered an INTENT to use the trademark for a particular type of product, and when I submit evidence that the product is indeed...
I've paid someone to do a US trademark application for me and they have told me that I have to submit photos of all of my products, to cover each of the descriptions I am listing on my registration. For example class/category 025 is for apparel. I want my trademark to cover all aspects of ladies...
There are so many different ways to compete other than on price alone and I don't see why you shouldn't give it a try. Nothing ventured nothing gained! Testing is the answer to your question I think. Think about competing on service offered, think about giving away an inexpensive item along...
Agreed - create your own product. If you're selling on Amazon you'd have to share the product buy box with the other seller. Creating your own branded product would mean obtaining your own barcode / ASIN and having your own buy box which you don't have to share with anyone else.
No I said it the way you think it should be :) You don't mention VAT at all on b2c and you mention VAT at checkout for b2b.
The important part of my first post was how this is dealt with behind the scenes, in the bookkeeping system, as that's whatcraigjwallace was asking about.
