    All android and IOS tablets are simply toys and portable web-browser. In 90% of cases it can not be used for serious stuff. Thay will not die because again they are toys, and as a toy they do its job really good )))

    I would say if your first need is mobility+performance, go with the Macbook. Even if you need any windows app, you can always set up a virtual machine.

    Oh yes, at some point you might start getting annoying Windows 10 upgrade notifications. You can not just turn them off. You have to look through the list of the updates on the current system and delete the KB3035583 and KB2976978 updates.
