Looking for a service picking and packing items and dispatching with Royal Mail daily Monday to Friday.
Our items are small, around 60% large letters, 40% parcels. We currently send around 1000-1500 packages per month.
We would need a service which provides us with the Royal Mail 2d delivery...
An Irish company doing business in UK still needs to register in UK with companies house and HMRC. Things are different if you're selling into UK from overseas, but as a building firm you need to be physically present in the UK to do the work.
The way you would previously have done this is for...
Although unregulated as such (in comparison to other countries' supplement markets), it still counts as a food product. So storage, repackaging etc would all need to be done in a premises registered with your local council for food use.
Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I had a similar problem with the same router and didn't find much help here, so finally found a solution online. I thought adding it to this thread might help others in future...
The following is copied and pasted from the site I found my solution:
Hi,
I've been trying to set up a new Zebra GK420D printer to begin printing PPI to use Royal Mail's despatch manager online system.
I've adjusted the alignment settings of the printer by 10mm so the Royal Mail printout fits nicely onto the label, but that's made it skip a label each time...
Unfortunately my internet connection is not even capable of holding a decent skype conversation, and phone calls to UK cost me over £1 per minute, so I was hoping to find the document number I needed from someone on here.
There was someone on this forum very recently who mentioned needing to...
I had some goods delivered by DHL which the sender, very unhelpfully, declared a lower than true amount on the invoice. DHL then submitted this amount to HMRC and invoiced a much lower amount for duty and VAT than I should have been charged.
I'm trying to get this rectified, and I know there is...
I'm not here to start an argument, I was just pointing out that your method of detecting if a UK seller is fake or not, "go onto the bottom of the listing and click contact details. Here you will see the hong kong address." isn't really a foolproof detection method.
I understand all about the...
But what about companies in Hong Kong or China which really do have a UK warehouse, are VAT registered, and can deliver next day? I've bought plenty of items from such sellers, so by saying that all sellers with a Hong Kong address are part of a "Fake UK seller scam" is a gross generalisation.
both import duty and vat vary by HS code
you can use this (google translate will help if needed)
http://service.customs.gov.cn/default.aspx?tabid=9409
find your HS code and type it in, enter the captcha (in lower case letters), then on the next page click the '>>>' bit, then you can see duty...
Due to the extortionate fees charged by Chinese agents of a few UK forwarders, quite a few suppliers I work with in China will not offer FOB prices anymore. It's the reverse of the same scam mentioned earlier, except this time after the products are paid for and ready to send under FOB terms...
surely with all the software and things available for integrating multi platform sales, there must be one with a function which will email the orders at a set time.
From past experiences I've found most people I know to be unreliable with completing the simplest tasks on time, even when being well paid for doing it.
I'm looking for some type of software which will automatically send my daily ebay orders to my 3rd party fulfilment provider.
I currently log into ebay each morning at 9am, print invoices to pdf, then email the pdf to the fulfilment house and mark the orders as dispatched.
For the first time...
