I have a good friend with a small e-commerce business who's always looking for new sales avenues. Will certainly point him in your direction.

    OnBuy to rival ebay/amazon?

I'd be interested to see how you're progressing with this project. I took a look at their site and it still seems to be in Beta. Darned hard market to crack. Best of luck to you.

Misleading "earn 100k a year" on youtube

The internet marketing world is a place I used to inhabit when I worked in e-commerce. You'll find the same get-rich quick schemes in all kinds of niches - people promising high profits for little work. Here's the thing; If someone's doing six figures a year (or even 5 for that matter) with a...

Not 100% sure what marketing is, or how to do it?

Exactly. I'd also add being prepared to fail often (and fail small).

    Alternative to Outlook

Use Gmail - it's excellent for business. You can share accounts, calendar, docs and info with staff, add signatures, import from and send as other email addresses. Plus because it's Google you can use it across all your devices.

    New Start Up Advice

I do understand that you should always compete on quality - but if you're entering a competitive market place price is going to be an issue. Worth remembering that a lot of people will be once only customers, so while stable pricing is important you will have room to creep up later...

    Selling wordpress plugins and themes..

You could always look at Europe to base your business. I know The Canary Islands offer really good terms for tech start-ups like yours.

    Translation services

Try using a freelancer or outsourcer if you only need the odd bits and pieces translating. I used a site called PeoplePerHour - which I think is UK based - and a good translator I can recommend if you need any suggestions.

    Money Transfer in USD

I've managed 6 figure e-commerce businesses almost completely through PayPal - and I can say they're at least as competitive as most banks - although of course, they do present another layer.

UK Medical devices and machinery manufactures and suppliers

Hmm, we worked recently with a company called Morgan-IAT who are in that field I believe. Google their name, it's definitely worth a shot - I know they produce some very high-end medical equipment.
