    I've listed one of my items using the 'Featured Plus' function. It's a wooden venetian blind and I presume that when someone types in 'wooden venetian' or similar, my item would appear at the top of the page.... It seems not to and I've just spent £20 on a listing which should have cost me...

    How much is he looking for?!?!?!?! Surely he's not using all the equity in his house for 25% of the total loan amount... To be honest, I can't see a problem with securing a small amount (maybe a few £k) against your home as long as you can aford the repayments and have a chunk more equity...

    You can insert your own HTML. There's a good site(marketworks.com) that gives you an easy to use editor to design your pages. Then you just copy the code into your eBay description box. Takes a bit of getting used to but it's pretty easy.
