Hi Neil,
Thanks for quick reply & info, and yes would definitely get an agreement drawn up if going into a partnership, would be silly not to I think.
The plan with employment was for a lower salary, part-time hours, as I say most of our outgoings are split in any case so it doesn't make much...
Hi Neil,
Thanks for the info, it will all depend how things go, hopefully it won't be a stop gap, but we know it will be a big change so aware it may not go quite as planned.
I'm already registered as self-employed and have been since 2008, am I right in thinking with a partnership that would...
Hi all,
After some accounts/business advice, my girlfriend is being made redundant in May, so we're looking at her joining me full-time with my business - which comprises freelance design work & running a few of my own websites (some are related to her profession).
We're unsure whether to...
Hi all,
Hoping someone may be able to help, I've got my self assessment all sorted ready to submit, but it occured to me I'm not claiming my office rent as an expense. I'm not sure if I'm able to or not, I currently live in a flat and rent a room back at my parents house as an office, I pay...
Hi cmedia,
If you can PM me some more info about the timescales you're hoping to work to, and perhaps just a brief indication of what the logos are for I'd be happy to send you a quote for the work.
Thanks,
Greg
Hi,
Have also sent you a PM with a quote, I have lots of experience working with Wordpress and custom themes (my own portfolio site at www.gregfindley.com is built on WP :))
Hope to hear from you soon
Thanks, Greg
Hi Richie,
If you need any assistance with the design side of things I would be happy to quote (most printers will require your design in PDF format with 3mm bleed and images at 300dpi)
As for printing, I would recommend Neil at ScubaPrint or Damon at Stationery-Direct, sure they'll be along...
I'm not an accountant, but from what I've read about Ltd companies, saving yourself a few £ by filling in the forms yourself is not a wise move, get an accountant to help you setup from day 1 and you can avoid some expensive mistakes! I wouldn't take the risk in doing it myself personally.
Hi Justin,
OK thanks for the explanation just something that had puzzled me initially, I'll put together a quote for you now and send across a PM.
Thanks,
Greg
Hi Justin,
I can do Wordpress theme design and development, and I know a bit about on-page SEO, just one question, and partly the reason I haven't replied until now... you're advertising yourself as a web design freelancer; Why have you not done the design and development yourself?
Thanks,
Greg
Hi,
I would advise setting out your layout with a basic wireframe, using bits and pieces from other sites will just cloud your vision when it comes to designing a layout and will just confuse others when asking for feedback! (as has happened in this thread)
Check this link out, it should help...
Hi all,
Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction, I've recently started a price comparison website that compares prices on a set of specific retail products. Not like a major shopping comparison site just a small niche as such, and was wondering what I need to include in...
