Have you tried contacting the hosting provider to see what added services (help) they can offer? Maybe they'll offer to help get your shop set up for an added fee.
The other option is to find a host that has the e-commerce/shopping site set up, and it just needs your products. I know Magento has...
You could put out your content/design request to the freelance sites (Elance/Guru/etc.), or if they're small jobs, consider breaking them down and seeing what Fiverr has to offer. You can get decent logos from Fiverr - quite a few designers offer services there.
Really just depends on who you want running the server portion of the live chat software.
Some live chat developers will sell you the entire package, but it'll require you run it on your servers (check with your web hosting provider as they are often not allowed on shared levels).
Other live...
Thought this post title was bogus until I found their news release
http://www.livezilla.net/news/en/
Are they letting existing users (on previous versions) keep using the software for free, or are they charging fees for all versions now?
Unfortunate but not surprising - a good downloadable...
Not sure I'd call it the perfect business, but they certainly have come a long way. In the 90s I thought they were done once cheap PCs starting to hit the market. But they found a way to keep prices high and retain new customers along the way.
To add to maxh -- the negative reviews have to be practical though. Not just rambling or written in such a way to sound like it was written by competitors :-)
I'm more likely to believe reviewers that do pros/cons -- vs. just cons...
I don't see any problem with you following some of your competitor's customers. But did you mean to ask if you should contact your competitor's followers individually (to ask them to follow you instead)?
As a next step, it may be worth to keep calling them on a daily basis. They may just be really busy and putting it off, but if you contact them daily on the phone (not email) they may end up paying sooner just to get you off their 'back'.
I know in the US that if the amount owed is under X...
The most difficult part of starting ANY online business is how to get people to find your site. Yes, many online businesses (selling websites/webhosting) tout the fact there are millions of online users to sell your products to -- they just don't mention the millions of online businesses already...
A quick search of Google for white label online backup yielded several sites that allowed you to white label their online backup service.
It still may be cheaper in the long run to develop your own solution, since you really just need a 'client' on the customer computer to manage the uploading...
Prestashop has a good support community and a decent cart system. Magento appears to be the more popular product to go with.
Consider what type of community support is available when selecting an e-commerce solution (especially open source) as you'll need their help if you run into trouble.
The only cert I could see getting is the EV type. Using this type of SSL cert causes some of the latest web browsers to highlight the browser bar when they visit an EV SSL site.
More of a gimmick than anything else, but the purpose of using SSL is to provide security and enhance confidence in...
Considering using Adwords (Google) as well. You can configure the campaigns to show ads only to those people in a specific geographic area. That way you're capturing some of the online users as well.
An alternative to employees is to get freelancers/contractors. Work=pay, no work=no pay.
Having employees can get sticky depending on the local laws and protections for employees. It may not be as simple as firing someone if they're not working out. It would be worth consulting with a lawyer to...
I guess I don't understand why the 'competitor' doesn't just contact the directories and get the URL corrected. With PPC/PPA links that's entirely in the control of the advertiser so there's nothing to gripe out there?...
