    Website design advice

It'd depend whether you're asking the developer to build your whole website with that feature in it, or ask a developer to add it to your existing website. If it's from scratch you could pay from 500 to 1500 for a one-off. If it's just adding the script, it could run up a couple hundred pounds...

Oh Europe, you and your lovely bureaucratic hurdles

You know mate, I think I will, just not now because honestly, I think too much time has been spent trying to solve this stuff and the business needs to go on the air, but as soon as we reach decent profits, VAT it is!

Haha, I don't get it :) It's great that those people were able to get financing early on and such, but I'm not really going to ask anyone for money and again, while one does need to be knowledgeable, I don't think it's impossible for a normal, hardworking person to start a successful business...

Well, I do speak German and I'm improving enough to have conversations with officials about economic topics and so on, but it seems to me you're telling me that because I didn't get a bachelor in Business management from and German university and because I don't have a lawyer or two, I should...

Oh Europe, you and your lovely bureaucratic hurdles

I sent you a message with some more specific questions, I hope you don't mind! Yeah, I agree, but when an entrepreneur is starting and hasn't got the funds to pay a Steuerberated 70 euro an hour, you have to do all this bureaucratic buzz yourself Man, that does sound problematic, I suppose...

Oh Europe, you and your lovely bureaucratic hurdles

Is this your first shopify store? Because it would be for me and one of the reasons I came to Germany was to start doing business, but it seems you think it isn't a great place to do it. Damn, I think I'll have to do EÜR for the beginning then, just good old Excel sheets to get started That...

Ah, I have the feeling that would make the whole process harder overall and it'd limit me to the German market

Hey Zoltan, I would rather not disclose too much info about it right now, not to keep it secret, but rather because it's still under the hood and on the workings, but it's basically eCommerce with poster designs here in the EU

I think I'm quite alright with my German, not the best, but so far I've been able to do most of the stuff I have to, painstakingly and all haha

Oh Europe, you and your lovely bureaucratic hurdles

Hey! No, initially I will be using a UK based company to drop ship my products, but after the testing period I will cease that and start ordering in bulk to do the shipping myself and increase profit! May God hear you! Haha, it's truly something I look forward to, as I haven't been able to...

What's up guys, this is just an introduction that I find polite to make. Germany based guy, working on opening my first Shopify store, interested in business and technology in general (mainly biotech), keen to work throughout Europe and yeah, that's that. Keen to hear more about the forums!

Oh Europe, you and your lovely bureaucratic hurdles

So, hello! My name is Federico and I am new to the forum. I currently reside in Germany and (I know, no one here is an expert in German law, but this is a more Europe-geared question) I am on the process of opening an eCommerce store with Shopify, initially it's going to work with POD...
