its best to do your research when finding a good agent, and do not go for the cheapest, even though your goods are valued at only £1100, you could easily pay about £200 more in costs and charges depending on which agent you use

if its a few hundred kg's or below go for Air freight and not ems, your supplier should be able to negotiate a good deal for you with their usual freight forwarders, plus an advantage of this is you get your goods very fast!
