This is where are so wrong. The other members of the team DO like us and we're an important member of the team, so together we decide what happens in the team.
"The EU don't listen" is like saying "We don't listen". WE ARE the EU, together with our colleagues from the other 27 members. This "Us" v "Them" rethoric is completely ridiculous. It's only the UKIP MEP's who don't listen, largely because they don't turn up.
